Writing because I love Persian Language

Do you speak Persian? I am asking this question regardless of you being Iranian. You might be married to a Persian speaking person or, you may just love this language because it is really beautiful.

Have you seen the movie "My big fat Greek wedding"? When I watched it I laughed my head off because I related to it so much. I have lived a part of my childhood (the Iran-Iraq war era) in a village called #Ewaz with wonderful people where half of it's population was my father's relative and the other half was related to him through marriage. The movie reminded me of that time, those hospitable, generous yet fixed with their own traditions kind of people.

One of the most important things I learned was how to use home remedies. My mother (God bless her soul) was quite knowledgeable in using home remedies. That is why I never took pain killers for period cramps, the chamomile tea was her prescription and it was indeed better than the Indian doctor of the village who hardly knew what I was talking about. The Indian doc is one main reason I do not want to see Norwegian speaking patients yet. I think they should drink Chamomile tea until I learn this language properly :)

To get back to home remedies, after graduating from medical school, digging into cells and reading whole lot about other people's work, I am back to appreciation of my mother's prescriptions.

I have therefore set up a page www.natural-and-homeopathic-remedies.com to basically keep the spirit of my mother and so many other wise ladies alive. My recommendation on this page are #naturalremedies, #homeopathic remedies and minerals and vitamins which are needed for different symptoms and diseases.

Oh yes, and the reason why I asked if you speak Persian is because I have a program on a Persian Radio called #Sedaye Iranian the #station of which is located in #Beautiful#Oslo. It is aired on Tuesdays between 8:00-11:00p.m. you can check it on www.sedayeiranian.com or radio wave of 107.7.

I am grateful I can share some thoughts, some I have learned in schools some other, from wonderful people who were there exactly when I needed them.
