Dubai is tall!!!!

Have you been in #Dubai? But you have heard about it right?

The Dubai I visit is different from the one known in the commercial world. I visit family here and still it is sooooo different from Europe.

I wake up with the sun shining right into my eyes ( yes I forget to close the curtain when I sleep at 2:00 a.m.), my coffee is ready and I am thinking what am I gonna wear tonight?!!!

I am sitting in the hall to write and the maid seems to be cleaning wherever I sit, when I am in my room she is vacuuming the room and now she is sweeping the hall. She is from Indonesia, a very very sweet girl. She sometimes uses Persian words and melts my heart.

Have you gone shopping with a lady from the Middle East? Do you know when there is a wedding in the family the close relatives have almost the same stress and excitement as the bride? :)

Have you witnessed a Middle Eastern woman looking for an evening dress? Only if the zip would close till the end!!!
And when they know you are a doctor who works with alternative ways, do you know their first question is " what should I eat to loose weight"? And my damn wrong answer begins with " you should not eat this and that...."! Do you see why I don't practice in the Middle East? If only I could prescribe some pills :)

However I love being surrounded with my family. It is a big non-fat Persian Family, they don't add salt to their food and they drink green tea! This might be their secret.

People are warm and hospitable in Dubai. Maybe that is why they build all these tall buildings and huge houses, they want to have space for their guests!
