One of the capacities of our brain is judgment, and we do, right and left judge whatever we see. This is big, that is small, colorful, fragrant, dull, exciting, handsome, religious, fanatical, spiritual, gay, beautiful, humble, unreachable, red, green, interesting, hmmm, whao,auch,ooogh and you name it.
These are all the judgments we do, we like to locate and identify objects and matters therefore we put a sticker on them. Many philosophers, leaders of thoughts and before them Prophets and Messengers have tried to teach us to look at things without judging them. Why would they ask us to do that? Why did they want us to go against a faculty of our brain?

I read this quote today on facebook and it hit something in me.
What is normal? Who is normal? What is abnormal?
If you think you are a normal person, and I really hope from the depth of my heart, that at least you think that about yourself ( LOL) see what door or window does this quote open in you.
I think, and I might be wrong, it is only when we do something that we think is out of line and a bit abnormal according to our own norms or maybe daring, that we see another side of ourselves. We do not need to always call that other side with a name. In another word we do not need to judge ourselves. Specially when in that judgement we are the accused one :)
I feel the quality or virtue that we need for this might be, might be, might be " Humility".
"With humility we accept the lessons life brings, knowing that mistakes are often our best teachers. We do not shame ourselves or others with the illusion that we are meant to be perfect."

I better go and wash the mask I have put on my face, I look quite funny with that:) And no I am posting a photo of myself with that....not that humble :)
